Worship Services in December 2020 has been a unique year with lots of changes and unknowns, and it looks like the status of our meeting together for worship in December is on that list.

At present, we know that we will not be meeting in person on December 6th and 13th, and the service will be streamed on those dates. The Administrative Committee plans that we will meet in person on December 20th and 27th but will continue to monitor conditions and regulations and let you know if anything changes. As always, our desire is to act in love and to keep everyone safe and healthy.

We are thankful for the faithfulness of everyone who continues to serve, pray, and give to support the ministries of Medford Friends Church. Thanks to each one of you, we have been able to continue worshipping, serving and reaching out to others with the love and truth of Jesus.

Staff Christmas Gift

We love our church staff and appreciate everything they do to keep the church, grounds and ministry going. One way we show our appreciation each year is by taking a special offering during December to give them a Christmas gift.

Like nearly everything else this year, we won’t be able to collect this special offering as we usually do, so we are encouraging everyone who would like to give toward this gift to designate your gift “Staff Christmas” and drop it off at the church office or send it to the church office in the mail.

Thank you!

The Tappero family thanks all of you for the prayers and calls to check on our daughter-in-law, Leah (Joseph’s wife).  While Leah’s recovery is not going as quickly as we had all hoped, she is learning to use the wheel chair better and the doctors say she will eventually heal fully.  Our new granddaughter, Logan, continues to grow and develop at an amazing rate – we have daily photos and weekly facetime with her.  If you want to see pictures, just text – we have tons!!! Joseph is not currently working and has been able to care for Logan – a bright spot for both of them!   It has been a blessing to see how well our “kids” have handled these unexpected changes – we are definitely proud parent/grandparents!

Again, thank you for your prayers, they are being felt each and every day! Blessings to each of you,                Chris and Carla

Birthdays Being Celebrated in December include:Delores Shearer, Dale Pickering, Ember Clark, Janelle Ralph and Mark Burton.
