Friends Women regular monthly meeting for business will be Friday, January 8th, subject to change. Bring EFM Prayer letter and any local praise/prayer items of which you are aware. The meeting will be in the MFC conference room at 10:30 a.m. BYD fellowship brown bag lunch.

We will have a short business meeting on January 17th following the regular meeting for worship. Due to the current public health situation this meeting will be held with one agenda item for approval of this year’s budget. While there will be a short time period available to voice any concerns or questions, no other decisions will be made that day. As always, if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions you are welcome to contact me via email or phone. I would like to reassure everyone that if you have not been attending meeting due to health concerns, there is no reason to attend for this business meeting. Once we get back to “normal” we will hold our regular quarterly meetings for business again.

Lena Anderson,  Clerk of the Meeting

Thank you from the Davis, Wilson, and Taylor families for the generous gifts, cards, and the cash gifts shared with us throughout the Christmas season.  We are thankful for God’s provision to us and for the ways that everyone contributes to the ministries of MFC. It is a joy to serve Jesus with all of you, our church. Thank you!

Our main topic of business will be finalizing the proposed 2021 church budget that will be presented at the January 17, 2021 business meeting.

Drive Through Christmas Party A big thank you to the Christian Education Committee and everyone who helped prepare and carry out our drive through Christmas party in December. We gave out or delivered eight family gifts containing a nativity scene and a copy of the Christmas story so families could share the story together, and we gave bags to over 15 kids, containing treats, activities and gifts.

It was a joy to find a way to share God’s love and a way to celebrate Christmas with our kids and their families.

From Christian Education

Throughout the pandemic, our Christian Education Committee has been providing weekly Bible story materials and crafts to the kids in our church family. We give a huge THANK YOU to those who have worked hard to provide these materials and we are very thankful for a gift that was given to help cover the cost of the postage. Even in these unique times, it is a blessing to continue to share God’s love and His word with the kids in our church family.

Praise Note! Answer to Prayer! The Tappero family again thanks all of you for the prayers for our daughter-in-law, Leah, Joseph’s wife and baby Logan. On Christmas Day Leah walked without her walker and our little granddaughter, Logan continues to grow, she now weighs 13 lbs. We are so blessed and continue to praise the Lord for answered prayer.  Blessings to each of you, Chris and Carla
